THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST IN YOU

LIVE IN THE SOURCE OF YOUR LIFE

We have a life in God. We become Godly as we learn to live in God and not in ourselves, our works and beliefs about God. The bottom line is Christ come in our flesh. In this Reality we become people full of grace and truth. Here we not are not only kind and gracious to others but are people who are the real version of ourselves. Not some faint rendition of our person muffled in a manufactured identity or the garments of religion.

NAKED UNION
We are alive in Christ and not in religion – not even in making religion out of the Holy Spirit. If we have spent most of our lives in a powerless kind of religion - the kind Paul called a form of godliness without power - we will be astonished at the spirit and life available to us when we obey Jesus instruction
not to leave home without the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Nevertheless, it is Jesus who is our Saviour and Jesus who has accomplished our union with God and established for us a life in union with God on account of the incarnation. Our life is about this life in Christ/God.

The manifest presence is exciting but this is not the Source our life. Christ in us is the Source and the Comfort. Thanks to Christ we are incarnated with God.

THE PRIMACY OF JESUS
“
Holy Spirit hides himself from us behind the Father in the Son and behind the Son in the Father, so that we do not know him face to face in his own πόστασις. Through him the Son of God became incarnate, but he [THE SPIRIT] did not incarnate himself among us. He is the one Spirit in whom the Father communicates himself to us through the Son and in whom we have access to the Father, He is the invisible Light in whose shining we see the uncreated Light of God manifest in Jesus Christ, but he is known himself only in that he lights up for us the Face of God in the Face of Jesus Christ.” (1)

Don’t become addicted to manifestation when your comfort and agency is Christ in you. By intentionally living incarnated – which means living The Lord’s Table – we are imbued with Father as true sons/daughters and can rest in this real presence and constant healing and repair of the soul. This is the foundation of the proper ministry of the gifts.
The other advantage of this state of being is that we are channels of living water in all of our lives – not just in religious settings. There is no dualism of The Presence versus non-presence. No sacred versus secular. Christ as our life is our life – incarnation is in us and among us.
BRANCHES OF THE VINE
Holy Spirit and the gifts are not the Kingdom of God. But Christianity without the Spirit and the anointing is a feeble version of the Kingdom of God and a muted sonship. The anointing and the gifts are the effect of our already achieved union with God by Christ. Live in the Gospel that is Real – never in one that is a parody.
If we build a life for ourselves out of Christ come in our flesh we will have done well. The anointing and the gifts must be rooted in the new covenant to be much use.  If Christ in us is the hope of glory  that we pursue and which we become, we will glorify God and ourselves. It’s not complicated.
